lm1 + catted midpipe = nice sound louder than stock
lm1 + o/r mid-pipe = insanely loud almost unbareable

lm2 + catted mid-pipe = quite like stock until you are WOT
lm2 + o/r mid-pipe = still a little quite and sounds like sex under WOT

i loved it, but my neighbors kept complaining, so i changed it. under a light load it wasnt bad at all, but under WOT its LOUD. i would of kept it but my parents made me change it. i still get complaints from my neighbors because its still loud but not nearly as loud as before

I love my LMII's! They are quite different from stock even with the stock midpipe. They sound is nice and deep under mild acceleration or at low rpm's, changing to a aggressive roar at WOT. This system really turns heads and gets lots of compliments! I personally can't stand how LMI's sound, and would never put them on my car. The choice is yours, get what you like, and remember that SLP also has the Powerflow mufflers. Check out mustangexhaust.com for sound clips of various catbacks with and w/o the various aftermarket midpipes. Good Hunting!
