yea im sure he did i believe just because it says 200 shot doesnt mean you only gain 200 nitrous is one of the only mods that will give you the claimed hp if not more and he had it tuned obviously for nitrous so the tune is probably his extra 25 hp

True true. I agree with the fact that nitrous is pretty close to the as-advertised numbers. BUT a 200 shot would be 200 crank HP. Assuming a 15% manual tranny drivetrain loss, you're looking at a 200 shot making 170RWHP. So 30 + 25 = 55rwhp gain from a tune? If so, I need the phone number of that shop, cuz I know where my next tune will come from.

Okie...well, i knew in one of the latest mags they had did a nitrous test...so i got the last couple issues of my fav 3 mags out.

In the October 06 issuer of 5.0 Mustang....page 120, to be exact, they did a nitrous test on a built motor out of the car.

With the baseline being 484hp and running a 175 shot, they gained 169 hp to get to 653hp, at the crank...no drivetrain to lose power through..... Mind you they was using 114 octane fuel as well. And it only gained 169 hp on a 175 jet. That is pretty close to the as advertised power though.

I like that low compression...you should move up a size on the ol pulley ::evil laugh:: boost <3

I was runnin 9 lbs and making 418 and 399 with a conservative tune. Within a few days, the procharger is headed to my f150....and i'm gonna start getting the garage setup for the build, that way at the end of september i can get rollin and hopefully have it done before spring. my goal is a 550-600whp comfortable car. no all out track car, but a car with monster power still with ac, full weight etc

EDIT: How do you like those brakes?
