Default Its a sad day . . . .

Tonight was the last night of the season that my local drag was open to the public and my car is sitting in the driveway in pieces. *sigh* and i didnt even get to use my new 275s! All i know is the $#!++y numbers i was putting down with my super bald and hardend 245s [:@] Oh well i have all winter to get more stuff done to the old beater and come at it again next spring. Mustang season is almost over fellas. That is unless you're Vasholts Racing and build Pikes Peak Hill climb off road mustangs haha (also located in my little town of Woodland Park, CO) Hes won the hill climb for as long as i can remember.

Ben when you say full bolt ons what are they? You still have 2 months of tuning time left don't you? I have a convertible also, automatic too, and I believe you are familiar with me. It took me a bit to break into the 13's with street tires, 315/35's out back, but I learned a lot along the way from some of the best. Tuning will do the most now with the bolt ons but I would still like to know what full bolt one entail. I believe I can get 13.75 still out of mine. That does not include what I could get with slicks and a hard launch, which I believe would yield 13.5's at 105mph. On the street with traction control off I just punch it and hook after a couple feet of spin. If I launch hard it will break the 315's and they will spin so hard that the motor revs to 5800rpm's quickly and shifts into 2nd and the car bogs as the revs are then very low. The Steeda Timing Adjuster is what finally got me into the 13's and with a custom tune and a TB/plenum I will get a 13.75, quite sure. mark
