valve cover off... smell of fuel?

RE: valve cover off... smell of fuel?
could be the valve guide seals. The injectors spray right by the intake valve and some could be getting blown in there, because boost does stress out those seals.
Are you burning any oil???
No it's not normal. Haven't we concluded your engine is very tired from the blower? [8D]

yes, my engine is tired... haha. i did fix the throttle problem on it though... the pedal was getting stuck on the carpet so i cut the jagged piece of carpet out and its fine now. cant even see where i cut the carpet unless the pedal is to the ground.
yea, im trying to find out what is making it smell like fuel in there... when im working on the car i have a hard time getting to close because the smell of fuel is so strong

well see I told you it could easily be the carpet, simple fix
But I have a feeling it's your valve guide seals. Particularly on the intake side, because when you have fuel being sprayed into that area, plus boost, it's pressurizing everything. The valve seals are a weak point. Could be blowing fuel through there.

well, you probably burn less because it's blowing air/fuel through the valve seals... and it's not being let leak the other way, lol
that's the only thing I could think of that would let fuel into the crankcase area. Fuel/air with boost through the valve guide seals.
well I gotta run, hit me up later I'd be glad to talk more
