I think you'll need to hook up your O2 sensors. Even if you have them off with the tuner to avoid a check engine light...well, I don't think that's what you're doing really. Your computer needs the data from the O2 sensors. I think with the tuner you're just turning off the part of the computer that trips the check engine light due to the data from your O2 sensors.

I've been told that if you disconnect your O2 sensors your car will run like crap.


mine did the same thing so i took my car to the local ford shop and i guess one of mine came un plugged and i had mine turned off also with the programmer, the comp. needs to know that they are atleast there they arnt working but they are reading exhaust temps still and that will have tour car running like crap. at least thats what they told me

ok guys ty, i appreciate it, im gonna take her in monday and have them put in, i had my gears done and exhaust today, so it was real hard figuring out what was going on exactly

yea dude you have to have the 02 sensors still in. i remember when i first had my exhaust hooked up. my light kept coming on, so i went throught like 3 sets of mils cuz i thought i kept getting bad ones but then i replaced my 02 sensor and it went off and ran good.
