Hey everybody,

I'm new here and need some major help. I have a 96GT with 4.6 2V. Just bought the car, 128K on the odom. The car ran like crap, was missing on at least a couple cylinders. So I used a timing light to check if all the plugs were firing.. The back two cylinders on the passenger side had no fire. And the 3rd from the back was intermit. Also I found antifreeze from a heater hose leak around the plug and wires on the back three plugs. Cleaned the anti freeze, fixed the leak. So I changed the plugs and the wires. Car runs a little better but the back two plugs now fire intermitent.
Could it be the coils. Those two plug wires come from different coils though. Could it be a sensor that tells the coils when to fire. Please help.

I had an anti freeze leak once. Yes it ruined my plugs and the wires needed replacing but that basically fixed my problem. Thats my story and everything was fixed. I know this MIGHT have nothing to do with it, but check ur intake manifold too, its common for them to crack and have 7 yr warrantys. Mine did. As far as the rest, COME ON U GUYS! HELP THIS NEWBIE OUT!

You said it all i think... just troubleshoot the ignition. Man I feel bad for ya since you just bought it. I bought a car once... bought 10k miles into me owning it the tranny pooped. $2400 for a new tranny.
