You should put the stage 2 stuff down onto stage 3 and get the handheld and gears first. x10 more bang for your buck than a CAI and a midpipe.

BTW, SCT > Diablo if your looking at a handheld.

Well, the gears and tuner will be very close behind the stuff in Stage 2! The reason I set the list up like I did is because I want to get all of the "small" stuff out of the way, that way when I get the tuner I can factor all the bolt on stuff in and get it dialed in when I get the burns done for the tuner. Plus I am still unsure of the gear ratio I want. Part of me wants 4.10s bad for the shere "get up and go" factor but the more conservative part of me realizes I drive 40 miles a day so I am not sure if I want to put that big of a dent into the ol' wallet gas money wise. 03fireredstang is going to be getting 4.10s put in soon so I am going to let his car be the test subject to see what they really do lol. Plus with a blower in the future I don't know if 4.10s are gonna be "too much" gear.

I would like some inputs on some products though.

Pullies- I am going to go with Steeda. I put a set on 03s car today and I am very impressed with the quality of them.

H pipe- I am still up in the air on this one. I have had a MAC catted H on my 6 banger and liked the sound. Anyone heard the Prochamber w/ cats on a 4.6? Bassani is a lil out of my price range

CAI- I know I want to go with a plastic one. 03 just orders a K&N so I am gonna see the quality and fit&finish when I put it on. I like the JLT but I have heard that you cannot run a strut tower brace with one due to the fact that they use larger diamater pipe. There was another brand that some people liked but I do not remember what the name was.

Gears- I know there was a company that made them that was netorious for gear whine but I do not remember which one it was. Who makes the best gears?

Tuner- I saw that one person liked SCT better than diablo. I would like to hear your expieriences with each and what you like and dis like about them.

Thanx for all the input guys! I really appricate it!

I have had both the SCT and the Diablo. The tuning capabilities of the SCT FAR exceed Diablo's parameters. I am sold on SCT forever.

+1 The SCT can do SOOO much more than the diablo. Its perfect for getting your car dyno tuned.

The SCT just seems more user friendly, has more power, and frankly I do not like diablos tunes.

One of the first things I got was a diablo chip, and when I finnally had the car dynoed at full boltons having the chip ON was costing me like 8 WHP. I then tried to get em to tune the car (diablo) by having them email the tune to my shop and having them (the shop) dump the tune in. This resulted in a a/f ratio of 15:1 (and me being super pissed).

I do have a custom tune in my SCT, so I cannot compare the mail order type tunes, but I am sold on how the product works, not to mention the results of my custom tune.

if you match the SCT tuner with a SCT maf it makes tuning much easier for the dyno tuner. and its huge
