Default Lowering Springs Hurting E/T's?

ok i dont have any of these mods, im just asking curious questions

1) If i add lower/upper control arms and also "lowering" springs like "H&R" will the springs hurt my time, because i know adding the control arms will improve my times; but by adding the springs will they hurt my times by throwing the use of the control arms through the window

2) I know eibach makes a "drag launch" spring but do these springs lower the car @ all and if they do by how much cauz id just get those to help the time out at the track if it gave me a lower look thatd be awesome

thanx for ne replys

Kenny Brown's package comes with differnet setups but they include springs that lowered my car about 1/2 inch all the way around. They also sent offset bushings for the front rack to compensate for this as well. My car hooks great now that I have drag radials on it.

lowering springs are stiffer and don't allow the weight to transfer optimally for drag racing. If you only go to the 1/4 once in awhile then its not a big deal. You could get some adjustable shocks and set them on soft to help with the launch.

+1. The lowering springs are got and really stiff and they're amazing around the corners but at the track they kill me. I need air bags out back. Thats the only way to have the best of both worlds. That and they have adjustable coil over conversions for $200.
