So I had a king cobra clutch installed a couple of months ago...well about 2 weeks ago it starts to squeek....if i slowly push it in....it squeeks at the very top....not in the middle or bottom though...anybody know what could be the problem?

throwout bearing. Ford throwout bearings are crap.

And dude, as to your title of this thread... that is life. My instance right now. eleven screws in my tires, which equates to three flats right now [:@][:@][:@][:@]

My TOB went bad within the first few months of owning my car. This is the first 5spd I've owned in a few years...think it was my shifting that ruined it?

Anyone know if it's possible to install the King Cobra clutch using a different TOB than the one that it's shipped with? I plan on having the clutch re-done in my car this week, and I was seriously thinking of going with the King Cobra clutch. But if the TOB is a POS and I can't swap it with a better TOB then I'll need to find a different clutch.

yeah, any brand TOB will work with it. I'm not sure what brands there are, though

Ya, my TOB went bad about 2 weeks after I bought it used off of a lot. I am getting it replaced(I hope) now and I really wouldn't like it if I had to pay to get it replaced again so soon. I just won't have the funds while going to college...I can't work full time like I did during summer. Should the King Cobra TOB go bad that quickly? I thought it was different the factory ford ones. If it's different could there be an installation error that the shop would cover?
