A dumb question is better than a stupid mistake.

Don't hesitate to ask before you do.

Especially when it comes to lifting or securing a lifted vehicle.

It's a bitch to actually get the jack stands under there. Where you use the hydrolic jack is where you place the jackstands.... so you cant just jack it up and set it there?

I usually just get a 2x4 under the K-Member, however now since my car is lowered i cant even do that. I need 2 jacks.

Good question, tough answer.

I used to use the jack "place", then one failed & now I've got a floor board that sticks out.

So I figured I'd place it under the frame, well, now I've got a bent frame.

Now I just jack it up where it's bent in the frame.

If that's any help. LOL

Depending on what you want to get at or do under the car, I've been known to put the front stands under the lower control arms and the rear stands on the axel tube as close to the tire as I can get.

This doesn't help you now, but with a good set of weld-in sub frame connecters like the ones from Global West, you can use those for jacking and supporting of the car.

Folded those over long ago. Factory doesn't always know best.

I think the original post is for jack stand locations, not jacking points.
