BTW, "highway racing" is stupid, and its for ricers. Wait till one of you has a blowout at 150+ from not using Z rated tires (even they will blowout). Gonna be in for the ride of your life, or maybe death. Any idiot can leave his car in 5th and floor it, while weaving in and out of minivans full of moms/kids. Hopefully though theres a cop nearby to see em do it.

Highway racing is extremely irresponsible and places not only yourself, but others in danger as well. It might seem "cool" for a while, until you get pulled over by a cop or kill someone. I know guys who have lost friends due to racing... once that happens, your perspective totally changes.

Drive, ride, and race at your own risk is disclaimer. I am not saying that I even agree with him wanting to race on the street. What I am saying here, is pick your poison and accept the consequenses.

When you wreck on the highway and I have to try and avoid it with my wife and two kids in the car, it becomes my problem. If these people only killed themselves when they wrecked, I'd have no problem with it.

when we race on the interstate, its not mid day when ur family is going to dinner. its late nights, also meaning very few cars on the road. and yes i know that, there is a higher chance of getting pulled over at night. i know the consequences, so i dont need u to tell me them. im not scared of the police, i have been pulled 13 times and its just another day when i get pulled. (i have only had 1 ticket that actually made it all the way through the courts and it was only 2 pts).

I hope the worst that happens to you is a cop arrests you and impounds your car. easier than living with the fact that you killed someone.

2000GT4.6 I have realized that you know your stuff... You don't see many people out there with actual knowledge like you have.
As far as 3.73s and 4.10s... I have 4.10s but if someone snuck in a set of 3.73's the difference would be so little that I probably wouldn't even realize it except in 5th gear. 4.10s are a great gear, but they are not night and day different than 3.73s, I'm sure most people would only notice the difference by looking at their speed and RPMs in 5th gear.
And as far as top speed, 2000GT4.6 is yet right once again. A stock GT simply does not have enough power to pull 5th gear to redline with 3.27s, unless it was falling out of the sky. 3.73s or 4.10s will put your car in a more "power friendly" RPM range in 5th so that it will pull up to a higher speed easier.
I'd bet money that a stock GT with 3.73s has a higher actual top speed than one with 3.27s

No need to bet that; 3.73's and 4.10's make better use of the GT's desire to be spun than a 3.27. The 3.27 is just too da*n tall. I will have to disagree with you though over the differences felt with the 4.10's as compared to 3.73's. 3.73's don't make a huge jump over stock, but it is noticeable. The 4.10's give you a whole new perspective that the 4.10 is the perfect gear for a 2V Mustang.
