if i buy a new h-pipe from either bassani or mac, am i going to notice a difference in the performance or the sound than my stock h-pipe right now? or should i just get a catback? (not ready for headers yet)

You wont notice that much difference for performance. You will notice a big difference in sound though.

i would say its worth it if get one with out cats (o/r) like most will tell you on this site that its not one mod that will make a big difference but all of them together unless you get a power adder like s/c or nos

If you think you might want headers some time in the future, then get the catback. Once your ready for headers you can pick up LT's and a shorty midpipe.

oh man it's worth it. I have flowmasters, but the difference between factory H and o/r H is unbelieveable.
