Default TKO 600/Lakewood Bellhousing Install Issues

I am in the process of installing a TKO 600 and Lakewood Blowproof Bellhousing onto my 1997 Mustang Cobra. I have run into a couple problems during the install, some I have solutions for and some I am looking for some help with. I had to move the crossmember forward about 4" and that is the cause of problem #1. The Drivers Side rear cat is hitting on the transmission crossmember. Does anyone know of an H/X pipe that will clear the crossmember in its new position? I am thinking of off-road x if need be but would like to stay emissions legal if possible. Also the stock clutch fork dust cover does not fit on the Lakewood bellhousing does Lakewood make a dust cover for the bellhousing? Any recommendations for the X-pipe?

Thanks for the help.

man thats hard to do with out pics. i have magnaflow X on my GT i dont know how the tranny on your cobra lines up with everything. but i do know that the cats on my x pipe are smaller. they are right next to the tranny. you would be playing with alot of money if you got a catted x and it didnt work. if you can deal without the emissions i would think your safest and cheepest bet would go with the offroad x pipe. its cheeper for a offroad and it will most likely fit.

Also I forgot to add that the stock K-Member brace does not fit with the bellhousing installd so I am trying to source a K-member that will fit.

I have the TKO-500 Tranny and bellhousing also. The tranny is only 5/8 inch different in size then T-5 Tranny.I have a H -pipe with hi flow cats and shorty headers. My cross member is the same one i had on the car with a T-5. and H-pipe.Might have to make the slot in the cross member more Oblong if you know what i mean. Also break in the tranny for like 300 miles. Mine shifted hard into first until it was broken in. need any info just Pm me ok. Later and good luck
