Hey this probably sounds like a stupid question, but here I go.</P>
I was allways thought that a stock mustang gt (2003) was a low to flat 14 sec. car. But I was reading a road and track and it was saying they ran a 15 <IMG src=smileys/smiley19.gif border="0">with the car(that is pretty freakin pathatic). Yes it was a automatic and im hoping they just put it in park and went. But if any one has taken their *stock* mustang to the track please let me know what you ran.I would like to know what year and also 5speed ar auto. </P>

I have a stock (Automatic)2002 GT, I took it to the track (Las Vegas Motor Speedway) last weekend. I ran a 15.2 @ 93 This was my first time ever drag racing, so this time should improve. The scarry thing is, I was the fastest 1999+ stang there, most were only pulling around 15.8 @ 87</P>
</P>
I will let you know what I run this friday, I am going to the track again.</P>

I have a 2001 mustang Gt 5spd with just the full exhaust and the k&n intake and i was running 14.4 @ 101 . These cars respond very well to small modifications install a 52 dollar k&n airfilter brought my time down from a 14.8 to a 14.4 , andI get better gas mileage haha<edited><editID>yellowstang</editID><editDate>37798.5041087963</editDate></edited>

I am going to go get a K&N tonight, my biggest problem is geting the tires to hook up, they want to spin through the 60' mark..lol<IMG src=smileys/smiley2.gif border="0">
Im not sure if I need to go through the waterbox or not, I am just running the stock tires. I have just been doing ashort dry burnout before the run, but that is not working to well.<IMG src=smileys/smiley16.gif border="0"></P>

I've got a '93 5.0 with k&n, pulleys, silencer removed. I went to svo shorty headers, flowmaster catback and electric fan. Running the AOD the biggest difference I noticed was the installation of 3.73 rear gears. Huge difference. I get great mileage, and I'm sure the top end speed will suffer. But even the 4.10's would be worth it if you're going to take it to the track. hi-6 crane ignition goes on this weekend.

i went to lebanon valley the other night, and saw a lot of 4.6's running a best of 14.6 and a worst of 15.4, that's not to say that non one is running better on a close-to-stock-stang, butthat's what i saw hehehe
