I have an 03 cobra convertible and am thinking about getting a set of catbacks. It is not as much for more performance but for better sound and better airflow. I have three young daughters and dont want to blow their ears out but would like to hear the car more than the blower.

Any suggestions?

Anyone here will tell you to get some magnaflows. I have them on my ride and they are actually pretty silent from the inside. In fact when I first got them I was really disappointed on the way home because I thought they would be a lot louder, so I told my friend to jump in and take it down the street and get on it while I stand back and listen. He did and I was like "HOLY SH*T that sounds awsome!"

Magnaflows are the way to go these days! [sm=smiley20.gif]

Flows are considerably quiter in the car than on the outside, but they are more performance oriented than sound anyways (its ok JD I was disappointed too - Im even trying to find somehting that flows as well that is louder - maybe going with packs soon not sure). But if you don't want to blow anyone's ears out the magnaflows would be a good choice.

if your going for sound over performance, just get flowmasters...not my choice, but they sound better than than magnas

Well...at low rpms, you're porb. right, but at higher rpms Magnaflows sound way better.

Also, w/ 3 daughters in the car they're going to HATE that 2,000 rpm drone

I've had both flows and magnas... Get the magnas!

I've had both mufflers. My Flowmasters drone horrible at 2k, but any other RPM I can have a conversation without getting loud.

My Magnaflows were suprisingly quiet inside...twice as loud outside as my Flows.

actually man im more of a borla guy they sound awsome not loud at all but when you step on it then you can hear how they work....not too nasty but a real deep sound not real high pitched its awsome and the performance is also great ............>>>>,<<<<borla ..........<<<<<>>>>

The Borla system my roommate has on his 2002 WS6 is so fuc*ing loud! It hurts my ears to ride in his car. Way to loud on the inside to me!
