Default Good to Bad day!

Ok today i got a call from the body shop and they tell me my car is done. ( i got rear ended was getting new bumper and exhuast) So i go to pick it up and they tell me that i own them 274bucks for the American Thunder i had them put on, which sorta sucked because the guy told me he was going to try and do it for free. But i go out and look at my car and i have a Mustang bumper not the Mustang GT bumper so i told them and they said they'd order a new one and call me when it came in. So this part of the day was all good sorta so far besides the bumper.

The bad part begins when i drove the car down the street to show my friend the Flows, and i noticed it was ideling really low like 600rpm, and every time i tried to put it in gear it stalled out. So i ended up having it towed to a shop which was closed so i wont find out until tomorrow whats wrong. Anyways now im really mad and sad at the same time and really worried. What do you guys think it might be, it never had this problem before it went to the body shop 2 weeks ago, and its burning oil sorta bad to but it was before so thats not new.

anyways im sad

wasnt gettin any looks in off topic so im posting here, sorry for the long read.

wow that really sucks man...if anybody rearended me (granted it wasnt my fault) I dont know what I would do. I dont know what to tell you about the stalling and idle speed but maybe I can help in the emotional department. My friend with a 93 hatchback got rearended and his hatchback got all messed up. Maybe that will make you feel better haha. Let us know what it was making your car stall out when you get it fixed. Good luck

Since you got rear ended, double check the fuel shut off switch wires in the back. They're located on the back left side of the trunk behind the trim panel. It'll have a red button on top of it(somewhat sink in). Make sure the wires under that unit are plugged in all the way.

yea i hit the fuel shut off swicth right after i got rear ended so thats not the problem. But before i got rear ended my idle always seemed to be around 800-900 for a while. Im gonna try somehow and see if i can get it related to the accident and hopefully her insurance will cover it.

But the Flowmaster did sound really good with the O/R H while i had it.

has the same thing happen this weekend when i had the new flows and o/r pipe put on, they didnt put in my sensors, the 2 front ones have to be and workin, anyways check your sensors, my car was idling low, then it would bounce sometimes from 500-1000 but as soon as i put it in gear it would stall, but before i got the sensors back in i unplugged the battery and for a few minutes to reset the computer, it stayed started but it wasnt right, after i got em back in it worked great, listen to me rant good luck

I would check to see if MIL's were installed. Also, try cleaning your IAC and check the TPS.

That sucks, reminds me of when i got the system installed in my 96 GT. That was an esy fix though, they had put the power for the amps through the fuse box, car was sputtering and turning off at every light.
