ORIGINAL: bryanecNitrous is only combustable when it heats up and breaks down (mostly while in the cumbustion chamber under pressure). Pure oxygen is readilly combustable when it is mixed with any type of fuel (even in the intake). So I dont think it would be very safe at all.
Looked onto it and nitrous is NON-flamable. It enhances the burning process as it is an oxidizer. Mark
