Default is my TPS broken?

is my TPS broken? i changed over my TB/Plenum and reattached the TPS but the idle speed and the time it takes to return to idle from open throttle is all messed up. i was looking at the TPS and the dial (on the inside) seems to be on a spring load and seems to only turn in one direction, but i think i went in the opposite direction and now it sounds like something is rattling inside......is their a way to test if the TPS still works like ohmage...after all it is a resistor

not sure if our TPS is adjustable, but you might have to adjust it back to the correct voltage......Old TPI sum BI$#H

Hope this gives you a step in the right direction

Could it be that it needs to be re-allinged and re-set in the software?

The TPS has to be set at .98 if u have a SCT2 tuner or diablo tuner they both can correct it. Also dont forget the little rubber gasket thingy that u have to put in it.

yeah but it seems the TPS is on a spring retractor, like if you turn it and release it, it will snap back to where it started.....but it doesnt seem to turn the other way.....but i kind of forced it and now its free moving and ratlles when you shake it
