Default cheap midpipe

Hey guys I am thinking about putting in a midpipe soon, I have 40 flows and i have decided to go with mac o/r h-pipe. I think that sounds the best. I also heard that H pipes are not that loud, and i want something very loud. How much more louder will it be if i put an H pipe in my car....

OK. so i went to the muffler shop today and got quote. He said it will come out to 400 for everything. 225 for the pipe, 70 for the o2 (i dont know what that is), and 100 for installation. Is that good. I dont know what kind the pipe is. I saw on ebay the H pipes were pretty cheap, does anyone else know where to get the 02 sensors cheap too?

thanks

the muffler guy prolly meant 70 for the o2 eliminators so you don't get a CEL with the o/r h pipe. as far as the pricing goes... Its alright. I got quoted 75 bucks for installation.

You should install it yourself. All you will need is some jackstands, a jack, maybe a set of pliers, and a 1/2 inch drive wratchet with sockets. That and maybe some bolt loosener if they are really corroded.

No more than a hour or 1 1/2 hour job.

oh ya and man if u get one. i will sell u the mil eliminators u need for 30 bucks shipped. they are the good ones with the factory style plugs. rather than paying 70. i paid 50 for em over the internet and they havent been on for more than a couple months. I have a tuner now so i wont be needing them. PM me if you are interested at the time u get ur h-pipe. And look around for a used one or something to that effect, i got the black coated one for 140+shipping and in awesome shape from a guy off modulardepot. just keep lookin. and by all means dont buy the stuff from the mechanic and try to get it installed urself! if not find a member on here in ur area with experience and get it put on urself with a little of their help! save that money for other mods
