Depends on if you have ever done them before, if you still have the orignal catback on there your going to need a sawzall to get behind the mufflers, and then floor jack and jack stands as well as your basic sockets should take 1hr or less so depending how fast you can get the bolts and stuff off. good luck

well neither my dad nor i have done it before, but im pretty sure we wont have much trouble with it. And my dad has about every snap on tool imaginable, which should help. haha so you think only an hour to put on the new cat-backs?

I think puttin them on is the easy part getting the stuff that has been on there a long time is the hard part. It might take a little longer I take my time when I work cause I dont like to do a hack job but I have done catback about 3 times already but you should do fine.

yes putting them on is incredibly easy. Taking the stock ones off may be difficult. If its rusty take some time and sand down the midpipe where it connects to the catback.

At least as far as my experience goes, 90% of the time, work on your car is never as simple as it seems. It probably has something to do with the fact that my car is 8 years and 60,000 miles old... haha but hey, a couple hours with the proper tools seems reasonable.

who needs a sawzall.... i had to use a hacksaw because im a scrappy college student with no electricity in the parking lot.. lol. on top of that i had to cut it 3 times cuz i didnt cut up far enough the first time.. ya bolting the new stuff on is easy, it sucks takin the old one out.... oh ya when u go to take the mufflers off the bracket. for gods sake ubolt the whole hanger from the car instead of trying to get the muffler bracket out of the rubber thing. i pissed around trying to get the dang muffler out the rubber part and after one i realized it was two bolts to get the whole damn thing off.

took me and my father like 3hrs to install, its very easy.

after you get the car on the jacks
1. unbolt stock catback from stock h
2. cut stock catback where it goes over the rear axel
3. put the lm2's on and test fit the tips
4. tighten those suckers down
5. go rip it up

+1 Couldnt have said it better. ENSURE when you cut the old catback off, you cut it right above the axle so you wont have to cut it anywhere else. I hope you plan on reimbursing your dad cause you will brake about 4 saw zaw blades but its worth it. One other thing, make sure u position the clamps so it makes it easy to tighten and loosen them. Good Luck!!
