ANOTHER gear thread?

Heres the synopsis: if you do mainly city driving, go with the 4.10s. If you want to same some gas mileage or plan on supercharging, go with 3.73s. I know there is mad crazy debate about this subject, but if you read around, you get all the answers you need about gears.

BTW, "stickies" are the topics posted on the very top of the forum page. Took me a little bit to figure out what in the hell people were referring to when they said stickies when I first found this sight.

Maybe you already know that.

I'd recommend 3:73's. Everyone has their own opinion but if you are on the highway or cruising at higher speeds your car is gonna be at high RPM's. The car I had with 3:73's to me wasnt even good on the highway hearing your car roaring constantly on a 2 hour trip became annoying. If I had a car designated for the strip I'd do 4:11's. IMO 3:73's are a better all around gears. See what others have to say

heres my deal....i was going to go for 4.10s and i thought i had made my mind up......but i ended up going for 3.73s and i love them...they are perfect for my kind of driving...(daily driver, never at the track, dont have enough money to get drag radials) and so on...The person who installed my gears explained it like this....4.10s arnt that much more power if you dont have the mods to get the power to the ground.....
Why couldnt FRPP make 3.90s rrrrgghhh
