Procharger? Can you get 400RWHP?
Hey guys, Ive got a 2003 GT with the basic boltons in my signature. I was reading some of the numbers on the Procharger website and now im interested in a power adder. I put down a measly 236RWHP on a dyno (dont think it was a mustang dyno) with my current mods. With the Stage 2 (?) is it possible for me to acheive 400RWHP with the stock internals? Also I know the positives to it are going fast and quicker acceleration but what are the negatives with getting a supercharger?

You can easily get there. You just have to get the right pulley, I think they come stock with a 10 PSI pulley and that may gt u there, but if not u may have to upgrade.

I just added a supercharger hp calculator to my site. you enter baseline rwhp, blower type, intercooler or not, boost level and it will show you final hp.
I ran your numbers on it and it said you could get to 400 with the 12-13psi pulley. not sure what size that one is, but's that's the one that originally came with my kit.

Don't go any higher than 10psi on the 2v motor. And get the 3-core intercooler if you do go with the Procharger. That's what I've got on mine. I'm running full bolt ons with the P-1SC at 8psi and am getting 360 RWHP. Yeah yeha people always saying the tuner doesn't know how to tune it properly. I CHOOSE to stay at 360 for the longevity of the motor. Yeah I could tune it to 400 easy but I choose to stop there. I'll do 400 with other bolt ons like cams or a smaller pulley, etc.. Which hey, I've got a smaller pulley coming for it and upgrading the fuel system also, and going to get it retuned within the next month or two.
Also if you're going to run 10psi think about the fuel pump upgrade as well.
