How can I make the hoodscoop I have now (bonestock, honeycomb), Into the hoodscoop I want. Do I need to buy the whole hood itself and paint it and replace it, or is there a kit on putting one of these hoodscoops on? If so, how much do they cost and where can I get one?

Just go to were the vert is and take the scoop. They will never notice!

nope just a stupid non functional scoop that goes on top of your hood. you can buy it seperate. just look around.

Exactly, just buy the scoop. In reality you don't have a scoop imo. You can either buy a GT scoop or the 35th Anniversary Edition Hood Scoop. The difference is the regular OEM GT Scoop is bigger, sits higher on the hood, more rise from the base of the hood up. I have the 35th Anniversary Edition, and of course vice versa, it sits lower.

Wait so the other one is also non-functional? What gives? Do they make a functional scoop for the GT's?

Also if you wanted to see the difference in person, go to a car dealer and look for a 99 35th Anniversary Edition stang and a 2000-2004 stang with the Reg GT scoop. Hell even take a tape measure. Sometimes they're hard to tell which one is the reg and the 35th.

There are no functional scoops for mustangs. Closest you'll get to SEMI functional is the Mach 1
