Professional products intake manifold

RE: Professional products intake manifold
There are a lot of aftermarket intakes that actually lose HP or lose Tq. Just because they are aftermarket doesn't mean that they are any better than the OEM. Although most og the time they are! I wouldn't buy something that hasn't appeared in any Mustang performance magazine!

yeah, i've heard nothing but HORRIBLE things about them. It makes power at i think 5k for the 2v, that redline at 5500, lol.. I heard somewhere they put it on a cammed s/c 2v motor with built internals and it didnt change any power at all...
When I had my GT, and saw that I got a lil excited until I read the reports, haha. Pro Products.. what a ripoff, lol.

David, I read a guy's take on thr intake after install and he said the quality was awful and it leaked like crazy. I will see if I can find it.

They say its a crap copy of the Trickflow stuff... a lot of people that have them said there were a lot of imperfections and had to machine them down a lil bit... Go with atleast BBK, if you have the $$ got with accufab/C&L
