Default JLT Ram Air System

Does anyone have this system? I was looking into it and I think I might wanna go for it. I just think I've heard that it doesnt fit right or something. I wanted to get the guidance from people who have dealt with them before. thanks in advance!

PS- If this one doesnt work out, is theere another CAI or ram air system you guys suggest. i would like to save the most money if possible.

Well, I run the P51 intake so no fitment issues. I have read that on stock intakes, the pipe will rub on the strut housing.

I JUST finished installing the JLT True CAI yesterday (the one that places the filter into the fender). I have a 98 gt, and it fit like a charm. no problems whatsoever. I can definately feel a bit more of a punch on takeoff.

yay! thanks man. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldnt the fit on a 98 be pretty much the same as a 99-04?

My suggestion is to get it, they are worth the $$ if you want a nice CAI.

here are some pics. I forgot to mention, the one problem i had was the little plastic thingy that goes up against the side (where the tube goes through to the fender).. well, it just wouldn't line up no matter what i did, so i had to slightly rotate it and drill my own hole (you can see in the 2nd pic). Not a big deal of course, but ya.
