Default 2 suspension related Q's

First, when I brake semi-hard (can be brake related..) i sorda get a lil wheel shimmy, the higher the speeds, and harder i brake, the worse. brakes and rotors in good shape.

Secondly, what could cause excessive bump-steer with a stock suspension? its always seemed to do it, roads out here are bad, and my car will follow a groove/bump like no other, especially when braking.

I'll by a prostitute for the person that can answer both, if your married, i'll just buy one for myself

Bumpsteer seems to be par for the course, if you have factory width tires it shouldn't be -that- bad, though mine followed the grooves in the road pretty hard with the 245 width tires, I have 265 width up front now and as you can imagine it's worse. I can't comment on it when braking though, I've just become totally used to it. The roads around here are bad, too.

The reason you get that feeling with your brakes is because stock mustang brakes are HORRIBLE!!!! I would invest in the 13" cobra conversion up front and at least some slotted rotors for the back. I have the cobra upgrade in the front and still get that feeling.

As far as your car following the grooves/bumps that is a mix between your stock suspension and possibly your tires. What kind of tires do you have on your car? Again, my car does the same thing. the roads here in PA are horrible.

your rotors might not be as good as you think, next time its in the air spin your front, if it spins some and then sticks your rotors are off

tires could be out of balance or not inflated evenly along with warped rotors for the brake issue.

I answered one question, do I get a midget prostitute?
