Default My new 99 GT

Just picked up my first Mustang a couple weeks ago. Its a '99 GT 5spd. Perfect paint, pretty amazing car for being 7 years old. Just installed a Loudmouth 1 catback, and a cheapy cold air intake. Hopefully I'll be going fast sooner than later! Looking forward to getting to know you guys! Here are some pics.

I'd say about 25,8xx. Did you look at the pics, the one with the odometer shown? LOL
What color is it? Sorry, couldn't resist!

Niiice that reminds me of my friend's 99 he got way back when they first came out (turned me onto the new edge)... even had the same wheels.

It's likely the 'base' 99 GT.. no traction control, electronically governed (but nothing a handheld tuner can't fix), and they also came with those wheels which are very similiar to later V6 wheels.

Yes I saw the odometer, but 25k for a 7 year old car seemed a little low. It is possible that the car may have only been driven roughly 3500 miles a year, but it is also just as likely that the odometer stopped working at 25k miles since I have had that happen to cars of mine. So yes I saw the picture and can read it but it just seemed a bit low to me.

Looks good but w/o the GT on the back I would have thought it was a V6.. You gotta change those rims and toss on a 4.6 badge or something..

Other than that it looks clean as hell.. Good find..

Thanks guys. Yeah, I need some new wheels for sure. That and some suspension work! I like the 35th Anniv. badges so I dont think those are going anywhere.

The original owner barely drove the car. It was garaged most of the time, and had only seen the rain once.

It must be the base model. I dont believe it has traction control, and can't verify a speed governor. Only been up to 70 like once. lol.
