Default Tune or Gears

Well a gift option from my girlfriend is coming my ways....should i get a SCT tuner or 4.10 gears.


also with the Tuner is a custom tune need and how much do they cost. A mustang shop near me would be doin both.

no...the shop will do the gears for $390 (with speedo fixed) and that is basicly the price of the Tuner

...also let me know what you thinkof the shops prices

Stang... go with gears + tune... find out how much that'll cost. You can get a mail order good tune for 370ish... I would do gears and tune at the same time... and if you don't have the money now, wait until you have it. because you're going to pay for that speedo recal... and it's just like throwing away $$

I was reading that page.. who the hell is motorsports??? Go with Ford Racing if you're going to get 4.10's man!! Even though I hate recommending Rpmoutlet they have some good packages... check em out, what year is your stang?

EDIT: they no longer have the gear/tuner packages

yeah they're canned tunes, but they're good tunes... I had one from brenspeed at brenspeed.com... I paid 175 for my gear install...

Also.. once you get enough money saved back up yo ucan always bring it to your local garage for a dyno tune... the power of a handheld tuner!
