A 4v swap sounds alot easier then a 3v swap the 4v did come in sn95s the 3v did not.Heres a quick write up for 4v swap get a cobra engine make sure it has everything from intake to oil pan + ecu.(you could reflash but this is easier) Pull old engine out , then put new engine in.Plug in ecu .You are done but your Imrcs and secondary air injection will not work. The engine is tigh fit and your hood will not fit unless you take a dremel to the bottom of it. 4V FTW!!!

Well what if i were to aquire a Lincoln 4V. What changes would i need to make to this engine to make it work w/ my set up. I didn't know if there was a write up (sticky) available, didnt see one. Thanks for the help. Also just for stupidity is the swap for the 03-04 cobra swap the same?

The licoln 4v is very similar to the cobra but the cobra intake is better. The lincoln doesNOT have a 8 bolt forged crank from what ive heard, it has a 6 bolt like a gt. One major part I forgot to list that you would need is a 96-98 cobra throttle cable in a 4v swap. It is EXTREMELY hard to find . Mine cost me $140 and ford said if it wasnt discontinued it would have been $40.

I know the 96-98 cobra blocks are the teksid blocks and hold some serious power.
