Hey i own a 01 Cobra and i ran my car hard for the first time last night and i woke up this morning and theres oil all over my rear end and i checked my oil and its bone dry. I obviously run synthetic oil but is it common for this to happen?

was it engine oil?

would guess maybe drain plug. you check the oil pan? jack her up and give it a look

did you just replace the oil if so check to make sure you still have the plug and oil filter

Well weve had it for a lil while now and its always done fine. I replaced the oil about 2 weeks ago. Im wondering if its because i drove the car all day and come night time i took the car back out and ran it hard. Ive talked to some buddies and they think its fine. Whats yalls opinion on this?

If its bone dry as you say, no, thats not even close to normal. Fill it up and get it safely up in the air so you can run it and see where its leaking from. To lose that much oil in one night is not good at all, good luck.
