Why are you running 10w40 oil in her?

hey code thanks man... however I'm gonna see if i can get it at work for a good price, but if for some reason it's rediculous I'll let you know


and.... Right now I run 5w30... I'm goin 10/40 in an effort to have an oil that's thicker when hot to slow down the valve guide seal leak

I tried all of that heavier weight oil and additives when I was smoking. Guess what! It doesn't work! Do a compression test and find out what is wrong it cost less for the test kit at auto zone the it does to do an oil change.

i've already compression tested it. i'm at about 145-150psi all around, and on a stock compressioned engine that's pretty dang good. So I'm gonna be getting a PI swap kit from Steenracing.com.... however I'm gonna get these 'cometic' head gaskets that reduce the compression ratio to stock because I do not want to run premium right now
