Default P51 Inake

I was crusing the web, comparing intake manifolds and I ran across this:

http://www.foxlakeracing.com/index.p...y=Front%20Page

The ad claims pre-mod rwhp @ 187 on a 2002 GT. My 03GT was factory rated @ 260HP. I know the factory rating is at the flywheel, but is it typical to lose 30% HP between the flywheel and the rear wheels? Am I missing something here or is this article bogus?

Depends on weather conditions, type of dyno etc. There are alot of variables. I am pretty much tired of the dyno talk. A dyno is a tool, nothing more. The P51 is one helluva intake, though.

Unless you have more mods to back that intake up, that's a lot of money for 10HP and 10TQ...

I hope you have more planned for that 4.6 than an intake...

+1. Yeah really. If you want real reliable numbers then yank that motor out and put it on an engine dyno. Put these days having the highest HP means nothing. You could have 280 hp for the span of 200 rpms and i could have 260 hp for the span of 1000 rpms and id kill you beacuase im in my power band longer. Plus weight too. Thats why the lotus elise makes 200 hp and does 0-60 in like 3.8 seconds.
