Default MAF?

ok i know a guy that has a diablosport MAF.ia adapter for 100$, he's sellin it cuz he's sellin his car and its only about a month old. But i found a web site that sells a 90mm mas air meter for the 99-04 2V's it claims to make like 10 hp or somethin and its only about 1394. Anyway what should i do? I know nothing about the MAF.ia calibrator. what does it do and will it really be worth it? thanks

Keep your stock MAF unless you go FI.

The website that sells the 90mm mass air is (http://modularmustangracing.com/). If you want to find it go to products then scroll down to 2V GT/SOHC Components. it should be on that page. sorry there is no direct link to it.

what is FI?
forced induction. Don't spend the $$ on a bigger MAF unless FI. If you do go FI, the lightning 90mm MAF is an excellent choice.

The MAFia is pretty nice for only $100... It'll cut down the voltage from your MAF by a percentage, so you never peg out the MAF, yet still get an accurate reading of the air going through it.

Then again, they are going on eBay for $150... you can probably get them a little cheaper from your friend. I'm too lazy to look up how much Diablosport charges retail for them. When you put the MAFia on, and even change it's number, you'll need a re-tune... it's meant to be set at the dyno if you're pegging the MAF and left alone.
