Default Help----Symptoms Listed

I recently replaced my inner and outer tie rods on both sides, had it aligned and during moderate to hard acceleration there is a slight shimmy/vibration. I don't feel it when i'm just rolling down the road just when accelerating???
Thanks

Sounds like it could be an alignment problem, I would take it back and have them re-check it.

I'm beginning to think back and second guess the vibration...About a month ago i got some new tires and got some 98 cobra rims from a friend of a friend in town(It did have a shimmy but I thought it was from the tie rods and the fact it wasn't aligned to the new tires and rims).......The guy @ the tire shop said that he was only going to put the weights on the inside of the rims. Could the weights only being on the inside cause some issues??

putting the wieghts on th inside well not so much a bit maybe if not done right but some of the tape which is all it is that holds the weights on in the inside of the wheel may peal off and once it starts especailly if your rolling down the road well the rest will go so you may want to check if the weights are even there at all now

Well i can tell you that engine torque twist is causing it but i cant tell you how to fix it lol. Take it back to them and have them fix it.
