Default 96 Mustang Power Seat Problem Tips

This is just a tip for anyone who has a 96-98 ford mustang and may apply to later mustang models. If your power seat (or lumbar) fails, check the high current fuse box in the engine compartment, next to battery. Check the first (upper left) fuse (viewing from the driver side fender) , it should be a 25 or 30 amp fuse. Also, if your seat can partially function, the problem is most likely not the motor, but the switch. They are known to fail. So, you will need to order the part from a Ford dealership and crimp the wires on to the new switch.
