Paxtons boost will kick in in the higher rpm range. At least the NOVI 2000.

i own a vortech and still i disagree with that vortech is best for street and procharger is best for strip...theyre very similar superchargers with the way they produce power. supposedly twin screw are best for street and centri are best for strip.

procharger has self contained oil...vortech taps the oil pan. some say vortech is better cuz procharger has a risk of leaking. some say procharger is better cuz you dont hafta tap the oil pan. theyre both good quality products.

i went with vortech cuz i got a great deal on one. i wouldve went with either one...just got a better deal on vortech.

supposedly vortech can make the same amount of power as procharger but while generating less heat...thats why the kit doesnt need to come with an intercooler.

cant go wrong with 1900 for a mostly complete supercharger kit.

I DROPPED MY AIR INTAKE TO 85 DEGREE'S WITH A SHAKER HOOD ASSIST, ANDERSON 4" COLD PIPE, METH INJECTION AND THE AFTER COOLER. IF I COULD SIT A ICE PACK ON IT WHILE I RUN I WOULD. IVE BEEN WRENCHING SINCE 79 ON PERFORMANCE CARS AND ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW IS THE COLDER THE AIR IN THE MORE PONIES.

I have been there and done that with the 4.6 mod. Im only trying to help, im new to these forums and wish to not be challenged on all posts by you. I dont follow you around and do that. Not to be mean but unless your running 605 horse out of a windsor 4.6 in a 2000 GT, you might want to listen to me. Hamilton clarke industries HCI - Motorsports and its premiere builder Cole Cutler built this car. Every trick in the book has been performed, on this car, every gadget tried with dyno results behind each change. 40,000 dollars in performance items alone. please let me help others or simply put ill leave.


I'm not disputing your knowledge. But why do you say it won't handle over 300?
