cai instalation help

Default cai instalation help
I got my cai intake today (an ebay one[&:], all I could afford right now) And the hoses that hook up to the intake before the throttle body, the smaller one that goes across the engine does not fit(the one that is a harder plastic. Just wondering what i could do if anything?
