black mustang black stripes
 

im curious what this would look like. i have a 99 black mustang and just to spice things up a bit, wondering what it would look like with flat black racing stripes on it... anyone have any pictures or any input?

the point of stripes is add color contrast to your car, i nver seen anythinglike that but i guess it will be a waste of money, if you have a black stang, silver, grey, red, yellow, white stripes will be the perfect colors, IMO

i dont think black stripes will look too good. if thats the look you are going for, maybe a darker gray would stand out a little more but still be subtle?

not that this has anything to do with it, but years ago i had fraternity sweatshirt that was black with glossy black letters on a black background. Everyone loved it. you could tell when the light caught it, it really stood out. But i agree with it might not getting noticed on a glossy surface. Maybe like a charcoal or charcoal ghost flames in a two stripe pattern?

If you wanted a ghost feature like that, I would say go with ghost flames even though it is ricey. I am not saying that I would do that, just saying, if you wanted to add a little something but not make it stand out completely, the flames would be better than the stipes. Just my $.02.
