Default Suspension question

I am tossing around the idea of doing some suspension work. I want to get steeda full length subframe connectors. And i was thinking about getting new springs, possible the eibach prokit or if i should get shocks and springs the Tokico Illumina Kit (adjustable). My questions are:

1) with changing the springs do i need to/should i change the shocks?

2) how much of a drop till i would need new c/c plates? does a 1" - 1.5" need new c/c plates?

3) and this might be a dumb question, but with getting new springs i would have to get a new alignment, right?

thanks

1. you dont need to but i put illumina 5 ways all round.

2. i have the prokit as well, some people say that you dont need c&c plates til 2". However, my fronts are cambered a bit.

3. yes, you will need a new alignment. find a shop that specializes in lowered cars if you can.

your welcome

not sure about how much of a drop will need c/c plates but i would do them since it helps with proper alignment and yes you will need to get ne shocks cause i found out the hard way with a 2 inch drop on mine which by the way is too much you cannot go over anything so i got the 1 1/2 and to finish off you will need to get an alignment with any front suspension mod really with a very few exeptions
