Wheel weight....
So I've got a question about wheel weight.. When searching the phrase, nothing came up...
I'm leaning towards the polished silver FR500's, or a DD 2000 Cobra R "Style," wheel, and I was wondering if any of you guys have weighed any of the DD 10.5's in either style, or to include Bullit/Cobra's???
Any insight would be great..

RE: Wheel weight....
Damn.. Those are some fat bastards...
Does anyone know of a company that makes lightweight versions, or something similar??
EDIT: Besides BBS (too expensive)???

RE: Wheel weight....
Lightweight wheels are pretty much all going to be expensive. You're going to want to get them forged which makes them more expensive. Lightweight wheels which are cast are more suseptable to cracking if you hit a bump or pothole.
If you have a copy of MM&FF, you should be able to find some in the ads.

RE: Wheel weight....
Thanks Droptop, I'll check it out..
I was thinking about a 3 piece wheel, since I live in New England.. (potholes..) But the cost of some of the 17x10.5's is somewhat ridiculous.. They're probably too soft for street driving too..
