Does he have a stick? They come with the most power, autos have nothing for power. Do you?

I test drove one before I got my Stang in '04. You should be able to beat him with no problem, I've toasted several. They're decently fast, but nothing to worry about.

Dude are you seriously even asking that question? Who gives a $#!+ that the horsepower numbers are simalar just look at the torque. The RX-8 isnt even 200 whereas you mustang is well over 300. Yeah dude should be a problem. Those rotary engines you strong on the top end though but i raced an rx-8 on the freeway coming home from denver and ate him alive. His buddy in the TT RX-7 that was modded out the arss killed me but hey you cant win um all!

Not a problem man. Just get him on the low end and youll have him. But first. Tell him you looked it up and you think you're slower but you still wanna try and then bet him like $20. I know its hustling but ive made a lot of money from hondas that way!

lol i'll bet him 20 bucks then, by the way there's a 1999 VW passat wanting to race me too. He thinks he's got it made with his 2.0 liter turbo engine, i think i can beat him too. By the way that's a stock turbo engine so it's like that from factory, i think they're pushing around 170 hp, don't know about the torque though.

Yeah and if you have any doubts just take out your air filter before the race for a few extra ponies DUde those turbo ricers will be all over you wanting to race. You can take them with ease and feel good about your life. Its when you start playing with the big dogs like cobras and LS-1s that make you start spending money on your car. My buddy had an SRT-4 stage 2 and he used to kill me and it pissed me off so bad. $2500 in bolt ons later i now **** him off haha so now he bought NOS. Friggin cheater!

I reccommend taking off the air silencer to your air filter. It is totally free and helps a little. Every little bit helps.
