Default Bought a stang!

Hello everybody, new to the forums. I just bought a 2002 GT but it had to be an auto so wife could drive. Has 33,000 with dynoflows and k&N cold air induction. Love the car, I know it's not super fast or anything but would hp would I be pushing with just those two upgrades? What kind of times do GT's run with these little mods at the track? Thanks!!

congrats. those mods will do basically nothing. A stock GT with a professional driver will run a 14.2 (manual). You'll be looking at high 14's low 15's.

Yeah, pretty much what i figured, I thought maybe 10hp if I'm lucky over stock. Well, looks like I will start saving my pennies!

Congrats and Welcome! Hope you learn a lot about mustangs in here. I know I did.

I use 5W30 Mobil 1 Full Synthetic.

The stock gearing is 3.27 I believe.

i also use mobil 1. Your first mod should be 4.10s and a tuner. It will really wake up your car. Next I would do full exhaust (long tubes). I guess since its an auto you'll need a shift kit.

+1 on the 4.10 gears and a tuner(Get the SCT XCalibrator II). There's a package they sell like that on mustangtuning.com with those and some tranny fluid for the rear differential. And the coupon code for their website is "mustangboards" for an additional 6% savings. Good luck!
