ORIGINAL: Adam03GTI lost it..whats the site for the JLT cold air?
www.jlttruecoldair.com

this cold air mod WORKS! If you get it angle the MAF which also goes in the fenderwell towards the front of the car a little so the filter does not hit the inner fender. Mark

So is a fenderwell cold air going to give me more performance? How could i help from not getting water sucked up into it?

Adam read my mods down below. The JLT WORKS! I registered a .15 quicker time and .9 mph faster using a passport timer which is similar to a G-tech. I had a BBK that did not work because it is steel and held heat so the cool air got heated. Check out the JLT site. Very high quality and as for sucking up water and causing some kind of damage forget it unless you go 4 wheeling. You would have to drive into 18" of water. The K&N type filter is oil impregnated. I ran a home made CAI on my Talon that was directly exposed to oncoming rain as it was right behind the grille, never had a problem. On the mustang there is not a lot of opening for water to get to the filter. It is pretty much enclosed but has no problem getting enough air. This is a mod that works. My 75mm BBK TB/BBK plenum did not register ANY gain and it was $300. Sending you a PM. Mark
