Default how many miles were on your can when you got it

NEW FROM THE DEALER ONLY!

so how many miles were on your car. i had 43.

the reason i ask this is because most people i talk to had like 4, 6, 12, or some really low number like that. i think that my can was on a bunch of test drives. when i went on my test drive in the car, the salesman had to drive the car off the lot (there policy) because it is located on a really busy 4 lane road. but anyway, the salesman was ragging on the car alot. shifting hard and bringing the RPMs up high. and when i was driving he was telling me to get on it alot to feel the power, but i didnt, cuz it was new.

So, 15,000 miles later my TO bearing and rear end started giving me problems. you think it could be because of people beating the car before i got it.

so, what do you think.

There is no definite way to tell really, but the TO bearing doesn't need any sort of breaking in. It could have been inexperiend manual drivers riding the top of the clutch pedal a bit that helped prematurely wear your TOB, but it's a known issue with all manual Fords.

I got my Titan with 7 miles. Your car was most likely a test drive mule...

Unless someone wheel hopped the living snot out of it so bad that it somehow knocked the seal loose in the rear, I highly doubt the 16 year old kids had anything to do with it happening.

Don't forget you bought a Ford product, which is known for their superior build quality.....not
