Ive been seeing a lot of posts here receantly about seafoam and happened to see it for the first time in autozone about a week ago. Is this a new product or have i been living in a cave too long??? [:-]

You need to come out of the cave. It's been around for 50 + years, lol.

Call me crazy, but I just do not trust seafoam. I am not putting anything in my engine that is supposed to clean stuff.
I dunno about seafoam, but genearlly anything that cleans something removes all of the oils and lubrication along with the dirt....

I'd never put anything in my engine outside of gasoline & oil.

RE: Just used seafoam for first time
Well for one, if it wasn't something that actually worked, it would've been pulled from the market a long time ago. Something like this that has been around for over 50 years with proven results is evidentally something that's worthwhile. This stuff has been around since the 1930's and started with marine applications.
I actually hesiated to use it. I guess just the idea of all the smoke sh*it out the exhaust. I'll decide for myself it it helped or hurt the car this weekend. I'll be driving it all over for car shows in and out of town, so we'll see. Speaking of that, I need to get the hell out of here.
But for something that's been around for so long, I figured why not.

I dunno if it works or not, but I don't trust it.
Hell, as long as it has been out, and nobody has done a back to back dyno test to prove any of the results.
I dunno. It MIGHT not hurt anything, but then again it might....

dependending on much "stuff" is in your motor and where you pour the seafoam, is what makes or breaks you in the smoke effect.... It works great on high mileage vehicles.... such as my friends 95 dodge caravan... we smoked out walmart lol!!!
