Default throttle body sizes

I've heard that a 75mm throttle body is too big for N/A applications... for that matter how large is the stock throttle body, and what size is optimal for an N/A setup?

+1, no sense in upgrading if you're only going to go from 65 to 70.

A 75mm TB is as big as you need to go with the factory intake because the inlet on the factory intake is roughly 75mm. A TB by itself isn't really going to do much. You're still restricted from the factory upper intake plenum. Add an after market upper intake plenum with the TB and you'll notice a little quicker throttle responce and a slight performance increase. Don't expect to much of an increase, but the bang for the buck factor does apply.

Edit: Ditch that K&N intake. It draws in to much of the engine compartment air. Hot intake air is a bad thing. Go with a CAI that places the air filter in the fender well and one that is not made out of a heat conductive material, i.e. steel.
