Another briliant move by the american auto makers. Guess they figure gas prices are going up...so we'll make our engine size go up.

And they wonder why the japs own the ****ing market.

ummm gas prices? go away

My guess by then, a lot of cars will be running on alternate fuels, we are making pretty good progress on it....

Even with that Ford 6.2, more than likely we'll still be playing catchup with the GM's
knowing ford, it will have a decent pricetag too, the blue devil/SS/stingray is supposed to be priced at 100K, which is still a good deal, but still...5.8 in the base model GT? I wouldn't be suprised if that 6.2 is between 45-55K while the 5.8 will still be around 35-45

just an estimate, comparing the GT500 and base GT priceing nowadays

I just hope that Ford doesn't have to make the Mustang a lot heavier to use these engines. The Mustang is big enough as it is IMO.

They also need to try to keep the price points the way they are right now. If the Mustang gets more expensive it will start to price itself out of its own market niche.

your right, why make a muscle car with muscle... your on to something there buddy, oh wait, they will prolly follow gm and cut off 4 cylinders while not driving hard, to save fuel...

geez, we got some smarts around these forums


if this guy was incharge, the f250 would come with a fukus engine...
