I just got a 13.9 my last time out.. and for some damn reason, i couldnt hit 8's in teh 1/8.. lol

it was like 9.01 something...

all you need is to securely get into the 13's to get a 8.99 1/8th

for a PI GT... its just a matter of dominating the launch and shifting in a stocker
or going DR's and 4.10's with a decent driver

(i pulled a 2.149 craptastic 60' with 4.10's, and 2/3 exhaust for a 13.985)

dude i ran a 8.932 on street tires and stock gears, with only exhaust. u should at least run a high nine. my boy ran a 8.7 with only rims and tires. but gears should get u there, exhaust, t/b + plenum, to be safe, and definitely some sticky tires. u should be mid or high 8's. another possibility but pricy at the same time is get a good suspension. that will help u hook up better

i ran a 8.462 in the 1/8 and ran a 12.9 so i guess that kinda answer your question.
