Low Idle
I have 40 series flows and i just got my midpipe install. After i installed my BBK o/r X i idle really low? Sometimes i idle at around 200-400 rpms? It didnt do this until after the midpipe? Its a steady idle, its just really low! Those are the only two mods i have.. Any ideas?

RE: Low Idle
Dude you aren't giving enough info for anyone to help you .....[8D]
Ok, is your new pipe an off road one without cats ????
Did they have to remove your O2 sensors to install it ? ???
The ticking happens as the exaust warms up and is random or U mean a ticking like a valve or lifter????
If U mean an exaust leak because they worked on your exaust system, an exaust leak should not cause a low idle unless it is a major leak ahead of the O2 sensors and the leak is throwing off the O2 readings.
If the leak is real small U may not see /jear it very easily.
Aside from taking it back to where you had the work done U can take it to a a Midas or Meineke shop. I can't see them charging even an hour to find the leak.
U can have two people hold a rag or piece of wood over the exaust pipes with their feet while you listen for the hissing under the car - BE CAREFULL if U do this !!!
Also, the problem may be totally unrelated to the exaust install
