Default sea foam (again)

I know there are a ton of sea foam posts, but my dad thinks that sea foam is just a bunch of bull****. How can you tell its actually cleaning out carbon (except for smoke), instead of just burning the sea foam itself to make smoke out of the exhaust, to make you think its cleaning out gunk from the engine? I've read multiple threads on how it helps and I want to use it, but I have to convince him.

Rather, maybe you should just listen to dad....

You cant win this one... some think its god's gift to man, then there's others like me who dont believe any repairs/fixes in a can are worthwhile... keep luv in the family an forget it...

i've used it a few times and the first time it smoked like crazy...2nd times much less smoke and the last time even less so the seafoam isn't what is providing the smoke show since my engine was cleaner it smoked less.
